Job Title: Solution Architect – Presales

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales & Solution Enablement
  • Partner with onshore pre-sales, sales, and solution architects to understand customer requirements and deal objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into end-to-end SAP demo scenarios and value-driven solution narratives.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with solution descriptions, system architecture inputs, and demo strategies.

Demo Design & Execution

  • Configure SAP systems (S/4HANA and/or SAP LoB solutions) to reflect industry-specific and client-specific use cases.
  • Build and maintain reusable demo assets, scripts, test data, and presentation flows.
  • Deliver live, remote, or recorded SAP demos to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Rapidly customize demos based on evolving sales conversations and customer feedback.

Functional Expertise

  • Hands on knowledge of other modules to provide functional inputs across SAP modules such as:
  • S/4HANA (Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and system connectivity needed for demos.
  • Troubleshoot demo system issues and ensure demo readiness within tight timelines.
  • Asset & Knowledge Management
  • Maintain demo environments, documentation, and best practices repositories.
  • Contribute to demo standardization, accelerators, and reusable industry solutions.
  • Stay current with SAP roadmap, innovations, and best-practice processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Functional Skills
  • Strong functional experience in SAP (minimum one core module plus cross-functional understanding).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA On-premise, Private and Public Cloud systems.
  • Ability to configure SAP systems for business scenarios (beyond theoretical knowledge).
  • Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and basic architecture.
  • Pre-Sales & Communication Skills
  • Experience supporting pre-sales, demos, PoCs, or customer workshops.
  • Strong storytelling ability—explaining “business value” alongside system functionality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global (onshore/offshore) collaboration.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven sales cycles.

Experience & Education

  • 4–10+ years of SAP experience (flexible based on role level).
  • Prior experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or demo delivery preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Business, or equivalent.
  • SAP certifications are a plus
