Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with 10–12 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance to lead testing initiatives for enterprise applications within the Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, or Investment Management projects, along with hands-on experience in test planning, execution, API testing, automation frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies.
The QA Lead will be responsible for defining quality strategies, leading QA teams, ensuring end-to-end test coverage, and collaborating with business, development, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Leadership
•    Lead and manage the QA team across multiple projects and testing phases. 
•    Define and implement the overall testing strategy, quality processes, and best practices. 
•    Prepare test plans, test strategies, effort estimates, and resource planning. 
•    Review test cases, test execution reports, and defect metrics to ensure quality objectives are met. 
•    Mentor QA engineers and promote continuous improvement within the testing team. 
Test Planning & Execution
•    Plan, coordinate, and oversee functional, integration, regression, system, UAT, and end-to-end testing activities. 
•    Ensure comprehensive test coverage for business requirements and technical specifications. 
•    Track testing progress, manage risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. 
•    Coordinate defect triage meetings and ensure timely defect resolution. 
•    Monitor quality metrics and drive process improvements. 
Financial Services Domain
•    Lead QA activities for applications within Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, or Investment Management. 
•    Validate financial workflows, business rules, transactions, and reporting functionalities. 
•    Ensure testing aligns with financial regulations, compliance standards, and audit requirements. 
API & Automation Testing
•    Perform and oversee API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools. 
•    Collaborate with automation teams to develop and maintain automated test suites. 
•    Support test automation initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks. 
•    Validate RESTful APIs and backend integrations. 
Agile & DevOps
•    Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. 
•    Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. 
•    Support continuous testing and quality engineering initiatives. 
Stakeholder Management
•    Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, Infrastructure, and Project Managers. 
•    Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to senior stakeholders. 
•    Ensure effective coordination across distributed teams and vendors.

Required Experience
•    10–12 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. 
•    Proven experience as a QA Lead or Test Lead in enterprise application projects. 
•    Strong experience in Financial Services projects, particularly Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, or Investment Management. 
•    Expertise in test planning, execution, defect management, and quality reporting. 
•    Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools. 
•    Understanding of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent. 
•    Experience using test management tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or qTest. 
•    Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies. 
•    Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices. 
•    Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 
•    Awareness of financial regulations and compliance requirements within the banking and investment domain. 
•    Professional certifications such as: 
o    ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) 
o    CSTE (Certified Software Tester) 
o    CSQA (Certified Software Quality Analyst) 
o    Agile Certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, etc.) 
•    Experience with cloud-based testing environments and CI/CD pipelines. 
•    Knowledge of performance testing and security testing is an added advantage.

•    Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. 
•    Familiarity with test data management and service virtualization. 
•    Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
