Position: Murex Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Murex Project Manager with a strong background in Banking and Capital Markets to lead and manage Murex implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should possess extensive project management experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of financial products and capital markets operations. Experience working with Murex MX.3 is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
•    Lead end-to-end delivery of Murex projects, including implementation, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements. 
•    Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans. 
•    Manage project governance, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution. 
•    Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior management to ensure successful project execution. 
•    Drive project planning and execution using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. 
•    Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. 
•    Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, testing standards, and quality assurance practices. 
•    Oversee functional, system integration, UAT, and production readiness activities. 
•    Manage geographically distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones. 
•    Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. 
•    Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards. 
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
Experience
•    8+ years of Project Management experience within Banking and Capital Markets. 
•    Minimum 3+ years of experience managing Murex-related projects. 
•    Hands-on experience with Murex MX.3 implementation, upgrade, or support projects preferred. 
•    Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional project teams. 
Technical & Domain Skills
•    Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Financial Products. 
•    Knowledge of Murex architecture, workflows, and project lifecycle. 
•    Experience with SDLC, testing management, release management, and deployment planning. 
•    Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies. 
•    Understanding of trade lifecycle processes and financial market operations. 
•    Knowledge of project governance frameworks and reporting standards. 
Soft Skills
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
•    Strong leadership and team management capabilities. 
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
•    Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
