We are looking for an SAP Data Migration Consultant to support data migration activities to move to SAP S/4HANA Cloud under RISE with SAP. The role involves planning, developing, and executing data migration processes using SAP standard tools and custom ABAP programs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP data migration from on-premise ERP or S/4HANA systems and a solid foundation in ABAP development.

Responsibility

• Participate in defining the data migration strategy, scope, and approach for various migration objects.
• Analyze source data models and identify master and transactional data to be migrated.
• Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes using standard SAP tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, or BODS, and custom ABAP programs where needed.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accurate migration results.
• Coordinate with functional consultants to understand business rules and mapping requirements.
• Document migration procedures, test results, and lessons learned.
• Provide post-migration support and assist in resolving data-related issues.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming for data extraction, BAPIs, IDocs, and file handling.
• Hands-on experience with one or more tools:
• SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM)
• Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW)
• SAP Data Services (BODS)
• Good understanding of SAP data structures across core modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional teams.
