Your role
The role of an SAP developer is rapidly evolving. At NTT DATA, you will no longer focus solely on traditional ABAP development; instead, you will build modern, scalable cloud architectures used by universities and colleges daily.

You will work on:

• Extensions for SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM)
• Development of Fiori apps, event-driven processes, and API integrations
• Modern extensions via SAP BTP and Azure cloud (ABAP RESTful, CAP, Event Mesh, Workflows)
• Integrations with third-party campus systems
• Optimization and innovation of our SIS Simplified product, built on S/4HANA Private Cloud

What will you do?

• Actively collaborate to expand our product
• Develop high-quality extensions using ABAP, UI5/Fiori, OData, and BTP services
• Contribute to end-to-end processes within Student Administration, Admissions, Progression, Graduation, Alumni Management, Financial Contract Accounting (FICA), and more
• Analyze functional designs and translate them into technical solutions
• Advise clients and colleagues on technology choices and best practices
• Contribute to the SIS Simplified product roadmap by initiating innovations

What you bring

• 3–5 years of hands-on development experience in SAP environments and tools
• A problem-solving mindset with a curiosity to learn and explore new things
• Proficiency in ABAP-OO, DDIC objects, enhancement techniques, and debugging
• Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and OData (v2/v4)
• Experience using ADT in Eclipse and knowledge of version control
• Experience with Fiori Elements and RAP is a plus
