Job Description:

AI Technical /Sr Consultant 
or AI Specialist – depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
•    Architect and deliver end-to-end AI solutions for enterprise use cases (e.g., document automation, conversational assistants, search/knowledge copilots, forecasting) across business domains.
•    Lead technical discovery and advisory: translate business needs into AI solution options, trade-offs, estimates, and implementation roadmaps.
•    Design GenAI patterns and reference architectures (RAG, tool/function calling, agentic workflows), including data flows, latency/cost considerations, and reliability requirements.
•    Build and optimize prompts, system instructions, and evaluation datasets; establish iterative improvement loops using offline/online metrics.
•    Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms and workflows (including ERP/CRM and business process automation tools) via APIs, event-driven patterns, and integration middleware.
•    Partner with security, data, platform, and DevOps teams to ensure production readiness: identity/access, data protection, guardrails, monitoring, and incident response.
•    Stay current on AI/GenAI trends, enterprise AI governance, and platform capabilities to proactively propose improvements and new use cases.
•    Design and govern agentic AI systems: define agent roles, tool/function interfaces, planning strategies, memory/context management, and human-in-the-loop controls for safe autonomous execution.
•    Establish agent evaluation and safety testing (simulations, sandboxing, permissioning, tool abuse prevention) and define success metrics for autonomy, reliability, and cost.
•    Excellent communication skills to different stake holders

Specific Responsibilities:
•    Technical and Use cases Lead for aXet (
o    deep understanding of existing aXet capabilities and use cases
o    lead new SAP use cases implementation with Inc  
o    propose new SAP use cases that could be integrated in aXet
•    Technical Lead for AI Hub 
o    Technical enablement of Hub members
o    First point of contact for technical aspects of Hub offering
o    Active member of Innovation community

Required Skills & Qualifications
•    Proven experience designing and building AI/ML or GenAI applications in an enterprise environment.
•    Strong understanding of LLMs, vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and evaluation approaches.
•    Strong programming experience in Python and experience integrating with services via RESTful APIs.
•    Ability to design end-to-end solution architectures (data ingestion, model/runtime, orchestration, integration, observability) and make pragmatic trade-offs.
•    Knowledge of security and responsible AI fundamentals (PII handling, access control, content safety/guardrails, compliance considerations).
•    Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills; comfortable advising technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Hands-on experience with agentic AI concepts (tool use, planning, reflection, memory), and with designing/evaluating agents in production-like environments.

Preferred Qualifications
•    University degree
•    Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure AI (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure ML) or equivalent services on other clouds.
•    Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware (API management, messaging/event streaming, iPaaS).
•    Hands-on experience with AI observability, evaluation, and governance (model/prompt versioning, monitoring, red teaming, quality gates).
•    Familiarity with agent and orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar.
•    Experience with low-code/no-code platforms for rapid prototyping and workflow automation.
•    Exposure to SAP ecosystems (e.g., SAP BTP, SAP Build, Integration Suite) is a plus, especially for ERP-centric use cases.
