Job Summary:
Senior Travel Manager is responsible for developing and managing the company’s corporate travel program. This includes overseeing travel arrangements, negotiating with vendors, ensuring compliance with travel policies, and optimizing travel-related expenditures. The role requires strategic thinking, excellent vendor management skills, and a customer-focused mindset to support employee mobility and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate travel policies and procedures.
▪
Manage end-to-end travel operations including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, visas, and travel insurance.
▪
Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other vendors to negotiate contracts and secure the best rates.
▪
Monitor and control travel budgets, ensuring cost-effective travel planning.
▪
Ensure compliance with travel policy and approval workflows.
▪
Track and analyze travel data, identify trends, and provide reports with actionable insights.
▪
Address and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies promptly.
▪
Lead and support the Travel Desk team, providing guidance and training as needed.
▪
Implement tools and technologies to streamline the travel booking and reimbursement process.
▪
Stay up to date on travel regulations, safety protocols, and risk management strategies.
▪
Ensure traveler safety and well-being through proactive risk assessments and contingency planning.
▪
Collaborate with HR and Admin teams to support relocation or expatriate travel arrangements.
Qualifications & Experience:
▪
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Travel Management, or related field.
▪
10+ years of experience in corporate travel management, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or leadership role.
▪
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
▪
Solid understanding of global travel regulations and risk management practices.
▪
Proficiency in travel management software (e.g., SAP Concur, Egencia, etc.).
▪
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
▪
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
▪
Experience working in a fast-paced, global corporate environment preferred.
