Senior AWS Developer
Experience: 8–10 Years
Location: Mumbai / Pune
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days per Week from Office)
Shift Timing: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer with strong expertise in cloud-native application development, data engineering, and serverless architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, workflow orchestration, distributed query engines, and Python development. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable cloud-based solutions while ensuring security, performance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications and data pipelines using AWS services.
•    Develop and maintain ETL workflows using AWS Glue for data integration and transformation.
•    Build and manage workflow orchestration using AWS Step Functions and MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow).
•    Develop serverless applications, automation solutions, and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda.
•    Work with Starburst/Trino for distributed SQL query processing, data analytics, and reporting.
•    Integrate on-premises systems with AWS cloud environments using AWS Storage Gateway.
•    Develop efficient, reusable, and scalable Python code for automation, data processing, and application development.
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
•    Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS infrastructure, services, and workflows for performance and reliability.
•    Implement cloud security, governance, and cost optimization best practices.
•    Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operational processes.
•    Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills
•    Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
o    AWS Glue
o    AWS Lambda
o    AWS Step Functions
o    MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow)
o    AWS Storage Gateway
•    Experience working with Starburst/Trino or similar distributed query engines.
•    Proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
•    Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.
•    Experience designing cloud-native and serverless architectures.
•    Familiarity with workflow orchestration and event-driven systems.
•    Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and deployment automation.
•    Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience working with Data Lakes and Big Data technologies.
•    Knowledge of AWS security, governance, and compliance best practices.
•    AWS Certifications such as:
o    AWS Certified Developer – Associate
o    AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
•    Experience in performance tuning and cloud cost optimization.
•    Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
•    Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
