AWS Developer
Experience: 5–7 Years
Location: Mumbai / Pune
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days per Week from Office)
Shift Timing: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled AWS Developer with hands-on experience in building, deploying, and managing cloud-based data and application solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, Python development, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration. This role involves designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures while supporting data engineering and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and cloud-native applications using AWS services.
•    Develop and maintain ETL workflows using AWS Glue for data integration and transformation.
•    Orchestrate and automate workflows using AWS Step Functions and MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow).
•    Build serverless applications and automation solutions using AWS Lambda.
•    Work with Starburst/Trino for distributed SQL query processing and advanced data analytics.
•    Integrate on-premises infrastructure with AWS cloud environments using AWS Storage Gateway.
•    Develop efficient, reusable, and scalable Python code for automation, data processing, and application development.
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud-based solutions.
•    Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS services, workflows, and applications to ensure performance and reliability.
•    Implement cloud security, governance, and cost optimization best practices.
•    Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operational efficiency.
•    Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills
•    Strong hands-on experience with:
o    AWS Glue
o    AWS Lambda
o    AWS Step Functions
o    MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow)
o    AWS Storage Gateway
•    Experience working with Starburst/Trino or similar distributed query engines.
•    Proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
•    Good understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
•    Experience with cloud architecture, serverless computing, and workflow orchestration.
•    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems.
•    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with Data Lakes and Big Data technologies.
•    Knowledge of AWS security, governance, and compliance best practices.
•    AWS Certifications such as:
o    AWS Certified Developer – Associate
o    AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
•    Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
•    Exposure to monitoring, logging, and cloud performance optimization tools.
