Job Description:

Role Summary:
The SAP S/4HANA EWM Consultant will design, configure, implement, and support warehouse management solutions using SAP Extended Warehouse Management. The consultant will work with warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, and IT teams to optimize inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory processes.
The role requires hands-on SAP EWM configuration experience, strong knowledge of warehouse operations, and the ability to support end-to-end delivery activities including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
Key Responsibilities
•    Participate in SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support projects.
•    Conduct business-process workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, fit-to-standard discussions, and solution demonstrations.
•    Analyze warehouse and logistics requirements and map them to standard SAP S/4HANA EWM capabilities and best practices.
•    Configure and support SAP EWM processes, including:
o    Warehouse structure, warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and activity areas
o    Warehouse process types and warehouse order creation rules
o    Inbound delivery processing, unloading, deconsolidation, putaway, and quality inspection integration
o    Outbound delivery processing, picking, packing, staging, loading, and goods issue
o    Internal warehouse processes, including stock transfers, replenishment, posting changes, and physical inventory
o    Handling Unit Management and packaging specifications
o    Warehouse task and warehouse order management
o    Slotting and rearrangement, where applicable
o    Batch management and serial number handling
o    Labor management, wave management, yard management, and production supply processes, where applicable
o    RF framework, mobile warehouse processing, barcode scanning, and printer integration
•    Configure putaway, picking, replenishment, stock removal, and storage control strategies.
•    Support integration between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA modules, including MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and FI/CO.
•    Assist in warehouse master data setup, migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
•    Prepare functional specifications for warehouse reports, labels, forms, RF screens, interfaces, enhancements, and workflows.
•    Execute unit testing and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
•    Support data migration, mock cutovers, go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-production support.
•    Develop and maintain business process documents, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and user guides.
•    Provide functional training and support to warehouse supervisors, operators, key users, and business stakeholders.
•    Work closely with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, technical, integration, data migration, and project management teams.
•    Follow SAP Activate methodology, clean-core principles, project governance standards, and warehouse implementation best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    5-6 years of relevant SAP EWM consulting experience.
•    Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP EWM within SAP S/4HANA.

•    Solid understanding of warehouse management and logistics processes, including inbound, outbound, internal movements, physical inventory, and handling units.
•    Experience configuring warehouse organizational structure, storage types, activity areas, warehouse process types, warehouse order creation rules, and storage control.
•    Strong knowledge of putaway, picking, replenishment, stock removal, staging, packing, and shipping processes.

•    Experience with RF/mobile warehouse processes, barcode scanners, label printing, and warehouse automation integration is preferred.
•    Good understanding of EWM integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and FI/CO.
•    Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.

•    Experience with requirement gathering, configuration, functional design, testing, defect management, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.
•    Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications, embedded analytics, and EWM standard reporting.
•    Ability to create functional specifications, test scenarios, training documents, and configuration documentation.

•    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
•    Good customer-facing, communication, stakeholder-management, and delivery capabilities.
•    Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills
•    SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA EWM or SAP Extended Warehouse Management.

•    Experience with embedded EWM and decentralized EWM deployments.
•    Experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud warehouse management implementations.
•    Knowledge of SAP Warehouse Robotics, Material Flow System (MFS), automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors, and third-party warehouse automation.

•    Experience with SAP Transportation Management, SAP Yard Logistics, SAP Global Trade Services, or SAP Business Network.
•    Exposure to industries such as retail, consumer products, manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, logistics, or e-commerce.
•    Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, SAP Best Practices, and SAP Central Business Configuration.

•    Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or global delivery environments.
