Job Description:
The SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant – L2 will configure, test, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions, with experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The consultant will work with senior functional leads and customer finance teams to deliver standard, scalable, and business-aligned finance processes.
This role requires strong hands-on configuration capability, customer interaction skills, and the ability to manage assigned deliverables across implementation phases, including fit-to-standard workshops, realization, testing, go-live, and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities
•    Support the implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support of SAP

     S/4HANA FICO solutions.
•    Participate in customer workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, fit-to-standard

     discussions, system demonstrations, and user training sessions.
•    Analyze finance and controlling business requirements and map them to SAP S/4HANA

Public Cloud standard processes and SAP Best Practices.
•    Configure and support SAP FICO processes, including:
o    General Ledger Accounting
o    Accounts Payable
o    Accounts Receivable
o    Asset Accounting
o    Bank Accounting and payment processes
o    Tax configuration
o    Financial closing activities
o    Cost Center Accounting
o    Profit Center Accounting
o    Internal Orders
•     Configure and maintain finance organizational structures, chart of accounts, fiscal year

      variants, posting periods, document types, payment terms, tolerance groups, and other

      relevant settings.
•     Support integration testing between FICO and other modules, including MM, SD, PP,

      EWM, and third-party applications.
•     Assist with finance master data and transactional data migration, validation,

      reconciliation, mock conversions, and cutover preparation.
•     Create functional specifications for reports, forms, workflows, interfaces, and approved

      extensions under the guidance of the FICO Lead.
•     Execute unit testing, support system integration testing and UAT, analyze defects, and

      coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
•     Support go-live, hypercare, and post-go-live incident resolution for finance and

      controlling processes.
•     Prepare and maintain configuration documents, business process documents, test

      scripts, training materials, user guides, and issue logs.
•     Provide functional support to business users and guide them on SAP Fiori applications

      and standard S/4HANA processes.
•     Work closely with project managers, FICO leads, technical consultants, integration

      teams, data migration teams, and client stakeholders.
•     Follow SAP Activate methodology, project governance, documentation standards, and

      clean-core principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, 

     related discipline.
•    4–6 years of relevant SAP consulting experience in SAP Finance and Controlling.
•    Strong functional knowledge and hands-on configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA

     FICO.
•    At least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience.
•    Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud fit-to-standard workshops, SAP Best

     Practices, scope items, and standard configuration processes.
•    Functional expertise in key FICO areas such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, tax, bank

     accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
•    Knowledge of finance integration points with SAP MM, SD, PP, and other relevant SAP

     modules.
•    Experience with finance data migration, reconciliation, testing, defect tracking, and

     cutover support.
•    Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and embedded reporting relevant to finance

     users.
•    Understanding of SAP Activate project methodology and implementation lifecycle

     activities.
•    Ability to write clear functional specifications, test scenarios, and process

     documentation.
•    Strong customer-facing, communication, collaboration, and delivery capabilities.
•    Ability to manage assigned tasks independently and escalate risks, dependencies, and

     complex issues proactively.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
•    SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance.
•    Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).
•    Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Ariba, Treasury, or

      Advanced Financial Closing.
•    Exposure to global finance transformation, multi-company, or multi-country

      implementation environments.
•    Understanding of IFRS, statutory reporting, local taxation, and audit controls.
•    Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery models.
