Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA RTR - Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) L3 Consultant to provide advanced production support, enhancement delivery, and functional expertise across Revenue Recognition and Revenue Accounting processes. The consultant will be responsible for resolving complex L3 incidents, supporting compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards, managing integrations across SAP modules, and driving process improvements in revenue accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SAP S/4HANA RAR implementations, AMS support, solution design, testing, and post-go-live stabilization.

Key Responsibilities
SAP RAR Functional Support & Configuration
•    Provide L3 support for SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) processes and ensure timely resolution of incidents, defects, and service requests.
•    Configure, maintain, and support: 
o    Revenue Accounting Contracts (RAC)
o    Performance Obligations (POB)
o    Revenue Allocation
o    Standalone Selling Price (SSP) Determination
o    Contract Modifications
o    Event-Based Revenue Recognition
o    Contract Assets & Contract Liabilities
o    Deferred and Accrued Revenue Accounting
o    Revenue Posting to Universal Journal
•    Analyze and resolve complex issues related to revenue contract lifecycle management, allocation, fulfillment, and revenue postings.
•    Support month-end and year-end revenue accounting activities and reconciliations. 
Revenue Recognition & Compliance
•    Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards including: 
o    IFRS 15
o    ASC 606
•    Support revenue accounting policies and reporting requirements.
•    Perform detailed analysis of: 
o    Revenue Recognition Processing
o    Contract Accounting
o    Revenue Allocation Logic
o    Deferred Revenue Processing
o    Revenue Reclassification
o    Subledger Reconciliation
o    Financial Reporting Impacts
•    Support audit requirements and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards. 
Integration & Solution Support
•    Support integration between SAP RAR and: 
o    SAP SD
o    SAP FI/CO
o    SAP BRIM
o    SAP Subscription Billing
o    SAP Group Reporting
o    SAP PS / CRM
o    External Billing Systems
•    Troubleshoot interface failures, posting errors, data inconsistencies, and integration issues.
•    Collaborate with Finance, Business, ABAP, Basis, and Integration teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions. 
Project & Enhancement Delivery
•    Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
•    Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and business process workshops.
•    Prepare and maintain: 
o    Functional Design Specifications (FSD)
o    Solution Design Documents (SDD)
o    Configuration Documents
o    Test Scripts
o    SOPs
o    Knowledge Articles
•    Support SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Defect Resolution, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.
•    Perform impact assessments for enhancements, upgrades, support packs, and business changes. 
Data Migration & Reconciliation
•    Support migration from legacy revenue recognition solutions to SAP RAR.
•    Validate and reconcile migrated contracts, balances, and revenue postings.
•    Assist in cutover planning, execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
•    Conduct revenue contract reconciliation and support financial close activities. 
India Localization & Compliance
•    Support India-specific statutory and taxation requirements, including: 
o    GST Integration
o    E-Invoicing
o    IRN & QR Code Compliance
o    HSN/SAC Classification
o    Statutory Tax Reporting
•    Collaborate with Finance and Tax teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
•    Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Commerce, or related field.
•    7-10+ years of SAP consulting experience.
•    Minimum 4+ years of hands-on SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) experience.
•    Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
•    Strong expertise in: 
o    Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)
o    Revenue Recognition
o    SSP Determination
o    Performance Obligations
o    Revenue Contract Accounting
o    Deferred & Accrued Revenue
o    Revenue Posting & Reconciliation
•    Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards.
•    Experience integrating RAR with SAP SD, FI/CO, BRIM, Subscription Billing, and external systems.
•    Experience in AMS support, incident management, problem management, and RCA preparation.
•    Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

•    Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology and Agile delivery practices.
•    Working knowledge of:

o    ABAP Debugging
•    Experience in global rollouts and multi-country implementation programs.
